Meet Jason and Simon

Jason Featherby

I joined Knight in 2005 to add some financial advice experience to the business. I hope to bring a practical approach to the advice that I give to my clients and enjoy helping them work towards a better financial position for themselves and their family. I’d like to think I provide sensible advice with a focus on setting up sustainable financial structures that will work over the long term. I enjoy helping people realise their financial objectives and focus on ensuring they don’t merely follow advice but understand it. Many clients I deal with are in a vulnerable position and that drives me to ensure they are given the support and guidance they need. I believe in providing advice and a plan that can be easily implemented and can evolve with a client’s circumstances. I love watching the Western Bulldogs play and will happily spend half a day fishing. BBus GradDipFP FFin CFP®

Simon Beaumont

I assumed the role of Morning Program Presenter at 882 6PR in January 2007, having worked in current affairs radio as a reporter, producer and occasional presenter since 2001, when I joined Liam Bartlett’s Morning Program at the ABC in Perth. I had a passion for breaking the news and local issues that impact Perth and WA, recognising that radio was the best and most immediate medium of choice for not only the listeners, but the agenda setters and people in power. I am currently the host of Radio 6PR’s popular weekend program which airs 6 am to 1 pm Saturday and Sunday. With a background in sports reporting, I have worked at the last two Olympic Games in Press Operations, and have worked extensively as a triathlon coach, sports journalist and commentator. I currently operate and own a small communications business, specialising in ground commentary at fun runs, triathlons, swimming and cycling events.
